Established in 1985 from humble beginnings, Matekor has become one of the country’s leading suppliers of construction equipment and power tools. Situated in Pretoria West, our 1 400 square metre premises comprises offices, showroom, workshop and storeroom.

The company employs some 38 people headed by Satch Mathen - CEO, assisted by Asoo Mathen - Financial Director, Henry Linton - Factory Manager, Ravita Maharaj - Accounts, Andries Lerumo - Operation Manager (Construction Division), Ilze Graaff - Assistant to the CEO, Dinah Maswanganye - Catering Supervisor and Vee Mathen - General Manager and Assistant CEO.

BEE Status

Matekor is a 100% BEE Company and intends to create and maintain job opportunities in previously disadvantaged communities.

Client Base

Our client base includes government and semi-government bodies, mines and construction companies, such as: Murray & Roberts, Grinaker-LTA, Concor, WBHO, Group 5, Trencon, Bombela CJV, Roshcon and Medupi Power Station JV, South African Police Building Division, Telkom, Department of Transport and the City Councils of Pretoria and Johannesburg etc.

The Business Unit manufactures and distributes a full range of Honda Gen Sets, Welders,
Powerfloats, Drive Units, and Plate Compactors etc. Power Tools and Small Plant normally take 48 hours to strip and quote for repair.

collection and delivery service free of charge to our loyal clients.
